Just left a friend of mine's shop that had a B model(his own) in for an oil change,. I asked him how well it started and he proceeded to hit the starter and it hit right off the git-go. The muffler struck me as "odd" as  it was leaning and he informed me it was in need of an exhaust manifold to support the muffler. Any idea who/where he can source one? Thanks

Wait, on a B, the exhaust and intake manifolds are one piece. How does it run without an exhaust manifold?

Are you talking about the part that is clamped to the muffler and bolts to the exhaust manifold?

I used to run my B with the muffler just stuck in the manifold.

LOL!! yes, it IS a 2 piece manifold and yes, he resorted to drilling a hole all the way through the outlet to just keep the muffler inlet from falling into the rotted outlet of the exhaust side Wink

I have more than 2 or 3 USED B/C/CA and 125 Power Unit Manifolds. I will sell 1 to this fella with the rotten manifold   I may even have a good enough used Gasket to go with it

Do  Half the price of a new manifold  sound like a fair asking price?
$155 new    $75 used   plus shipping
