What brand do you prefer?? Gas, wood, etc. Im gonna find something to put in the toy hauler and head for Arizona next fall, depends on moms health if we can go. But plans are in place. Guess I outta think about eating down there. I'm sure I won't be able to buy the great corn fed Iowa beef down there. Just thinking about chow down there. Surely find something decent besides rattle snake steaks and armadillo hams.

Pain killers musta kicked in.
I prefer my MES as I can set my temp really low for cool smoking cheese and fermented sausage or higher for BBQ style. I also use a A-Maze-N Smoker gadget in a container and plumbed it to the smoker. I can use chips, chunks, sawdust, or pellets with it. Hope we get some sleep. My bottom 3 disks are flat out gone.

I was looking at them at the store yesterday. There was a real nice little two burner. Propane and was standard height. I was thinking for the two of us that would probably be my next buy when the current one dies.

Shopko doing out of business. Stopped in there today and looked at what grills they had in stock. They all looked extremely cheep but they had big prices on them. A pal of mine told me to come back in a week or two. IF there was anything left the price would be cheaper.

I bought a pit boss smoker/grill about a year ago, and really like it. It burns wood pellets. I prefer the flavor of wood over gas, but I don't like babysitting the grill to maintain proper temperature. This has the best of both worlds: wood burning, and automatic temperature control. Darrel

At the house I use a charbroiled propane grill. In the camper I have a pyromid charcoal grill. Out in the barn I have a brinkman charcoal smoker. Any of them work for me.

I have a gas grill but that is on its way out, my new Yoder YS640 pellet grill is scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday. I think working in the food industry for 25 years has increased my interest in such things but I never wanted to spend all day tending a fire. The pellet version sounds good to me, just set your temperature and it stays there. Should be interesting, I’ll post some picture whe I get it. Thanks.

Well,,I'll tell ya'll a secret,,,,I cannot vouch for any groceries in the far Eastern part of the US,,but the Absolute bestest most tender biggest piece of beef I have ever eaten was in a Nice resturant in Black Eagle just north east of Great Falls Montana,!! The name is Borries Steak House and always makes the upper list of " 10 Best Steaks In Montana"l!!! There are lots of big time ranchers and celebs that FLY into Great falls just to eat there,,,I know,,,I've seen em,,,!! The average steak is 1 1/2" thick and fork tender all the way thru,,,Unfriggin believable how they do that night after night,,, I used to get sent up there twice a year and I would always bring back at least 6 of those steaks,,,MMMMmmmmmmm
