Delivered a snow plow out in North Dakota yesterday - (almost 1000 mi round trip) out I 94 .. Unit for a Kubota utility tractor - went out to WING ND.
WOW them people from Minot to Jamestown sure got hit with snow - drifts along I 94 especially at overpasses are over 8' high and along much of highway drifts are still 6' or so high 5 ft off the shoulder of the road .
can see why they closed the highway for a couple days . that section of the state has little bare ground showing where going North in MN there is snow but lot of standing water also and the fields are showing bare ground .

Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do? You stop drinking and get off the carousel.

Welcome to my world, Coke. I don't have it nearly as bad where I am at, as they do where you were though. I was up in the wing area day before yesterday, also. Should have met up with you. Darrel

That section of ND got hit hard I guess - out in Wing the guy said they had just a small amount of snow and the fact the hills there prevent the wind from piling the snow into large drifts like along I 94 to the East.
Was looking at some of the rivers along the route and wondering how bad flooding was going to be -

I flew from Anthony Kansas to Fargo N.D. on Friday.  I could not believe the amount of snow I saw.

My favorite daughter (only daughter) lives in Fargo. She said that they can't haul snow out anymore, because they ran out of space to haul it to. Streets resemble snow tunnels. Now they are bracing for the flooding that is sure to come when the stuff melts. Darrel

I went to Minot ND in the winter once back when I was working as a contractor for the Air Force.  I don't know how people can stand living up there.
