Looks like some one re-invented a version of the rotobaler. Lots of open sprockets and chains. Looks like a homebuilt tractor too! |

That's pretty cool for a farmer built set up. Maybe lacking in the tying department a bit and sure has a lot of arm grabbing parts though

Not bad if they could get it to automatically tie!

I like it, even if it is a little crude!
Are roll-balers still produced? I saw an old beat up OMC "roll-baler" at auction once. They had a tractor hooked to it and they engaged the PTO for just a couple seconds. Sounded like all the bearings were out!

I couldn't understand the language they were speaking, thinking eastern European. Did you notice it had the manual bale kicker, aka, the guy videoing it? I wish he would have shown the tractor a bit more. Somebody defiantly has talent. Creston, I don't know if the roller balers are still produced or not. I've got an old one, might be an OMC, but there were several brands all the same, made in Europe for various companies. Hard to make a real solid bale with it but I've used it to get rained on/junky hay off the field faster. Only paid $300 or so for it. Edited by JohnCO - 19 Feb 2019 at 11:46am |
