Has anyone put power steering on a CA?  If so how did you do it?  What type of parts did you use and where did you get them?

Maybe try the 12 volt set up like the Tractor Doctor did in Red Power magazine?

I've always wondered how hard it would be to adapt a 60s-70s Ford car system with the separate control valve and ram.

Some one posted pics a long time ago of a CA that had the torque generator inside the tool box under the fuel tank.

WHY? I went thru the steering  on my CA, fixing bad bearings and getting things lubed and set up right, and with a belly mower hanging under it, I can steer with one finger while moving.

Go look at the power steering on a old "A" Gleaner combine it has all the parts to convert your C to power steering.
3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

The ROSS steering box on a CA is marginal at best, adding a torque generator in front of the tractor steering box is just asking it to fail. The only reason a CA should have a need for power steering, would be if you have a loader on it. Then you should consider a full hydrostatic system such as what an I-40 has. After that you will be breaking front wheel spindles.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY
