Eccentric Pin Snap Rings

I know a while back that there was someone who had contacted me about making these.  We didn't know the correct size at the time, but I do now.  The correct size etc. from Jim Palmer Jr. ,,,,,,,,,

It is a round snap ring, .099” thick and fits on a .906 shaft

It is the eccentric pin snap ring.  It's for the pin that goes through the eccentric that you turn to lock and unlock the eccentrics so you can move the wheels out and in.

Anybody out there know how to make them, snap rings?  You could sell a chit pile of em if you made em.  I'd take a dozen myself..

I have a big collection of old springs....I was able to find one with about the right diameter and wire thickness.

About a year ago I was lucky enough to find 8 brand new ones at AGCO roughly $6 dollars apiece
have several used ones

Yes Jay, I inquired from my favorite AGCO parts man and they ARE available for the cost of $6.28  EACH.!!!
I'm doing some searching,,,,,, I'll be back.

I just got a full set of them from Sandy Lake for around 7/each. Going to replace all when I put new rims/tires on and restore eccentrics, I figure a piece of spring steel that has never been removed and is nearly 70 years old is probably past its lifespan.

 8 X $7. = $56.oo  , If I would be working on  a tractor for a customer $56.oo is less then one hour labor .   Would you not have more then a hour labor trying to come up with a cheap fix ,that in return cost that customer more money .  

Is there an allis part number. I'm curious if we have any laying around.

I worked it out to about $290 per pound of product. But if I needed it I would buy it. Running all over town looking for a cheap way out (or as some see it, a just way out) is expensive as I have found. When on one of those vision quests I usually end up asking myself if I regret getting into this mess, am I having fun yet?
I did buy them used (maybe Sandy Lake, or Matt?) they were cheap.

I have an AGCO parts question- Can you get anything from them cheap, do they sell any $0.85 parts? Do they seem to have a six dollar minimum on everything?  There is overhead of selling, putting in a bag with bar code, stocking, computer entry....
In this case if they gave you 4 in a bag for six bucks, it would seem OK.
