Yup at my age I bought an Alice Chambers or Allis Chambers or maybe even an Allis Chalmers tractor you get to choose. Dixie had a fit! Might have been a bit more than a fit. Might have reached height of a cow. All that being under the bridge it is a 5020 with a cab and a front mounted snow blower. Kinda low hours if 202.7 is low compared to my 2300 hours. Grandson is going to pick it up late next week if my check clears. Can't be to careful with an old geezer that walks like a drunk with a cane.

I'd love to have that, and that is very low hours. I have my little case with a 4' blower and a cab, but it's getting a little long in the tooth. Post some pics and make all us snow hounds jealous!

They are tough little tractors, and if those hours are correct, you should be fixed for blowing snow for quite some time.

LOL Also never trust an old geezer with a pool cue. They can run the balls off the table pretty fast. Congrats on the 5020. They look like a neat little package.I wish the 5030 could have had FWA.

Wait now, I'm lost. Is it an 5020 or the 5030? Does it have FWA? Edited by Unit3 - 09 Jan 2019 at 10:35pm |

I bought a 5020. Unit 3 wished that the 5030 was manufactured in Four Wheel Assist. I have a habit of glance reading. My glance read that he wished the 5020 came in Four Wheel Assist and I posted a picture of a 5020 with Four Wheel Assist. I then came back to see the comments and I spotted the 5030 in his comments and said, Oh Shaw! I readded it wrongly! So I deleted the picture and confessed to my dumb mistake. |

Welcome to the board. I love to chat for hours about anything. You can always PM me your number!Chatting about where you could find parts for a 5020 would not be of help though as the only way I have found any parts for mine has been on ebay. Some of the people on here do have connections for parts. I search for Allis Chalmers parts starting with Sandy Lake Implement. Some of these nice people may pick up on your needs from this post and reply. |

Looks like a great answer to the snow moving challenge, Dick. Not sure how old an "old geezer with a pool cue" has to be to qualify to be buying these orange machines, but I'd just tell 'em "Hey - I'm breathing and ambulatory so I'm still in the game!"

Top side is much easier to buy tractors than the alternative I have been told. PS: I was able to blow snow a whole two times. In just a few minutes work I was able to drive the pickup to all six horse feeding lots. Without it would have taken all day for each snow with out having someone to come in and help.
