I have a HD11E that quits steering after 30 minutes or so.
I have cleaned out the hydraulic suction strainer and changed the filters that is above the injection pump, under the seat and another one near the engine clutch housing. I believe the hydraulic fluid isn't getting pumped from the transmission back to the pump because hydraulic fluid overfills the transmission and spills out. Is there any other filters i have missed? Thanks, Logan |

I looked at Minnpars parts book for this tractor, you have two pumps, steer is on the timing cover, trans is on the trans nose. There are two strainers UNDER the trans mounted pump that scavenge the trans oil to feed that pump to the steering housing and main trans oil filter. Have you had these off?
Trans pump is page 126 HD11E under Allis Crawler/wheel dozers. |

They appear to be inline to each f the scavenge tubes. Beyond that taking discharge pressure readings will tell if that scavenge pump is failing.

The HD11E is standar shift with dry stering cluch and the transmission have a small front pump for circulated the oil inside and have a oil filter and the small pumps near the injection pump are one for the stering cluch booster and the second one is for the master cluch oil filter and the hydrolic oil is't connect to the transmission but am't a expert.
