TFOI = Technology Feeding On Itself.
OK, I get 3-5 emails a day with insight into the 'latest, greatest' in the electronics design world. Most(80%+) deal with smart cars, self driving, e-cars, etc. BUT today I get one that shows 'they' are going to put BLE ( Bluetooth Low Energy) computers onto battery operated hand drills !
You'll have to wear a BLE verification badge to operate YOUR drill ! Among the 'features' they list, you can read that when the drill is near ANY wireless computer, it'll connect and tel the drill manufacturer where it is and how it's doing !

I’ve heard about that. I didn’t know what the Bluetooth feature actually did, but I saw they were coming out with it. Good thing I have an abundance of old drills!

Wait… For that Bluetooth drill… How long is it going to take me lose that special bad you have to have? Lol
