Would like to have one myself. One of my friends has one about 48 inches wide and it does a great job. He and his wife cook for our church, the local FFA, and several other organizations. Will be using it and my gas grill this Sunday afternoon to cook burgers and hot dogs at our church.

Our #3 Son, Jon,  has one of the 48" Blackstone that  gots room to cook a whole mess of burgers plus 4-5 lbs of bacon,,,, Only'ist thing is it didn't do too good in a slight breeze so we added some lightweight metal panels for wind control and works many wonderfuls now.

Yep, got a Blackstone Grill right down the street from us.  We went there once for one of those free; "Come listen to us and have dinner on us" spiels.  Pretty sad place to go and spend money for dinner and you gotta cook it yourself!  I don't think we'll be going there on our dime!

I've been looking at the 28" model.   I don't have the need for the larger model.
I have a large grill and waste alot of fuel getting it warmed up to use.

I bought the 22" model with two burners a month ago.
I really like it so far.  I got the 22" because I wanted to be able to throw it in the camper too.  I don't think I would go any smaller as you won't have enough room to cook multiple things at once.  I find it cooks really fast.  I run it on the lowest heat setting for normal cooking and that is plenty hot.  After I am done cooking, I throw on some water and scrape it then crank it up hot and burn a little more oil on it.
It does a really good job.  I would highly recommend it.
Now I have to learn to juggle the spatulas like they do at a Japanese steakhouse!

is there a lot of heat that go out the back or the front of them? I thought about putting it inside my outdoor kitchen (tent) but I don't wanna burn up the tent cooking! i'll still use the grated grill for doing steaks and chops. but I like doing veggies and fish a lot, I do have a smaller flat top that fit's my grated grill, kinda a pita using it tho. I cooks lots of eggs and hashbrowns on the grill, and thanks Darrel!

I would say it puts out a similar amount of heat to a bbq grille for judging distances.
I would be pretty careful.  Are tents fireproofed at all?  I would think Nylon would light up like a can of gas?

well I gots the CampChef one, I likes it a lot better than the Blackstone because, it has the flat cast iron grill on top, or you can lift it off and there are cooking grates under there for steaks and stuff! it's a 4 burner, but we used it tonight and didn't hafta use all 4 burners. just another new thing to learn to cooks on! so far so good! it's outside now with a cover on it, but this winter i'll try to place it inside the tent, will hafta do sum re-arranging in there to make it work.

I just saw the Blackstone tail gator at the local hardware store. Grill on left gas or charcoal and on the right os a big flat griddle which can be removed and a big pot sat there or a turkey frier. I want one. It seems very well built.

well....a couple weeks worth of cooking on the grill every night. this thing is a keeper! I've only used the grates once, we did the ribeyes on the flat grill last weekend, it did very well, didn't flare up like I like tho! most people cuss the flare ups, but that's how you get your char broiled tastes! I love flare ups! but the steaks turned out really well anyway. I did the taters, steaks, and stir fry veggies all at the same time on there, was nice to be able to take it all off at the same time so it's all hot when served! we did pancakes and eggs on it tonight, once hot, don't take long at all. so far i'm loving this thing! I like the shelves under it too, and the legs are adjustable for leveling. easy to move around. and the grease trap works great!
