Anyone know how to take apart the marker cylinders on a 333 planter? Just pulled it off but haven't tried taking it apart yet. Looks like the bottom fitting comes off then bottom spins off? Is this correct? Thinking I have an internal leak as it always works its way down when it should be up.

Remove rod end fitting. Drive the end slug down into the barrel maybe 3/8" inch. Dig out wire snap ring and pull it apart. I ain't there looking at it, but that's the kind I think it is. You realize you'll be dead in the water if you can't find a seal kit today, right ???

Opposite end of what I thought. Remove fitting. Drive the slug in. Remove the snap ring. Pull it apart.

Don't let the lack of a kit slow you down. Part of my real job is hydraulic seals and repairs. If a seal can't be measured and matched up it's not too hard to get one made. If you ever get in a bind let me know, I'd be glad to help. |
