I am hoping someone on this forum can provide some information. We are trying to have a 1955 Buda 4 cylinder motor rebuilt and can't find parts. I see that Allis Chalmers bought out Buda in 1953 so we are not sure if some Allis Chalmers parts might also work on this motor. I was hoping that since these motors were used in tractors that someone might have some information that would be helpful. Our motor (model B-1872 serial 615-52) is out of a 5 ton Plymouth locomotive that is used at our tourist attraction. We have owned this locomotive since it was new and we want to preserve it and keep it running. Thank for any help you can offer it is greatly appreciated.

What engine is it? I bought some parts from the buda engine company in Shreveport L.A. if it's the 153 that are in the cockshutt 30 diesels, check cockshutt pages on facebook also, or email me and I can try to help when I get a minute.

Sorry, didn't read the whole thing. Try the buda engine company 318-222-3348. James was good to me.
