Where the PTO shaft comes out of the main transmission shaft and in to the clutch, is there a seal in the back of the hollow shaft that the PTO shaft goes through, and if so how do you get to it, trying to seal up all the leaks while its apart. When I split it the clutch was soaked with oil.

It is the trans front seal, had the exact same issue.  Clutch was soaked in oil.  The tough part was the O ring on the front bearing retainer did not want to stay in the groove when putting it back in.  Not a drop of oil out of it since then.  Clutch works great.

I got the new seal and oring for front retainer, just thought I would try to replace seal for the PTO shaft, it must be on back side of main shaft, just not sure how to get at it. Mine had about a half inch of oil in the back part of bell housing there. Thanks for the pic
