I am looking to overhaul my d-19 gas engine and everyone is telling me the sleeves and pistons are unavailable. Would a Diesel engine out of a 180 fit in frame?

I looked up G262 overhaul kit, Jensales shows 1 available. You might contact them. I found them on line.

Major surgery is required to fit a 301 diesel from a 180 in a D19 frame. Not a drop in at all.

A 433I (F2/F3) would be a better fit and have the power.

I have 2 d-19 gas engine kits on hand now. I just need the size of the crankshaft. I may have under size rod and main bearings.

Thanks for all the assistance. I purchased a overhaul kit from Norms antiques overhaul is complete and ran on dyno Sunday breaking it in Thanks again this forum is a very good source for help
