Just wondering if anyone remembers any of the 7000 series or the 344's having a inline injection pump on them? The old AMBAC systems are getting darn near impossible to get parts for.

Don't the Ambacs run 1 to 1 with crank? Inline would need halfed. I put a A pump on my 8070 tractor and had to get the drive gears from a 7000 series for a Roosa to drive it.

I think you're right on 1 : 1. Wasn't there some discussion of military versions with Roosa pumps on here a while ago? |

I may have to look into that Ian. Seems from my Fuel system rebuilder I took my spare pump to the parts limitations don't give him much choice but to not even turn a wrench to it. He stated just the gaskets and such are darn near to exhausted in NOS and no one still making. At least the Roosa/Stanadyne pumps do still have parts available, for now.

never seen a 7000 engine (344) with an inline pump, but they did go from the American Bosch PSB to the Roosa DB. The PSB is driven at engine speed, and the Roosa or an inline is driven at 1/2 engine speed for use on a 4 cycle engine.
