Another new issue. Again, 78 black belly 7020, around 6000 hours.

As much as I don't want to admit, I have run the tractor low on hydraulic and didn't notice it until the pump started "chattering" as our mechanic at work would describe it. At that point, I added fluid until it was in the sight glass, ran it, re-filled, etc until it was right. Now I definitely pay more attention, check it every time. When it was low previously, I would add fluid and the "chattering" would go away within a few seconds.

After second cutting, the tractor sat for about a month without moving. Went to put all my implements back in the barn after servicing them and the chattering was back. I filled it to within the sight glass, made it right, and still makes the noise. It is definitely coming from the pump on the "passenger" side of the tractor behind and below the battery box.

Could this be an issue with junk in the filters, reservoir, etc? Hoping its something I can remedy before really bad things happen.

As always, thank you all for your help!!

Sounds like it could be pressure regulator in PTO valve. They do that after changing filters. Usually quit after air is worked out.     MACK

Should I be worried that it is happening and I haven't changed the filters? Do you think I need to change both filters now?

Not unless the filters have a lot of Hers on them.
Get out of cab and check for the noise over right axle.     MACK

Noise is definitely coming from the larger pump slightly in front of and behind the "passenger" gas tank.

I have my loader torn apart getting the cylinder seals re-done so can't really test much out for a few days. Do you think I need to run it for a while and operate the loader a bunch to see if it is air, it will clear itself?
