I have a 6080 that will not rev over 1100 rpms and will stall at idle. I am suspecting the injector pump. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You start by disconnecting the fuel supply line from the tank at the fuel filter base and see if there is a gushing stream of fuel coming to the filter. If not, you probably have a plugged fuel tank outlet.

If fuel supply proves good, loosen the pump timing cover on side of pump, and see if it runs properly while letting the fuel leak out that side cover.

there is a plastic bleed screw on the back of the pump = loosen it while the unit is running - it should still run fuel out while the tractor is running - if it dies - see Dr,s post...
