Does anyone have a wiring schematic on an allis chalmers 6080 , putting an ignition switch in behind someone and starting from scratch. Just trying to figure out which wires go to which terminal.

The is a serial number break for the diagrams plus cab or no cab. Here is the early one without cab. If you need another let me know.

The one i am working on is with cab but this should be the same just all the accessories wired into the "ignition" portion of the switch right ? And have the hot battery wire on the " bat " and the exciter wire for the starter on the " start " ?

My issue I am having is a guy took wires loose and didn't mark anything, well I have the full time hot wire wired to "bat" terminal and and the exciter wire going to starter wired into the " start " terminal , there is also a wire running from top of injector pump I'm curious about , but I have voltage into cab to switch but will not do anything when the switch is turned over , but you can jump starter by jumping posts with screwdriver , are there any wires maybe safety sensors or anything that have to read voltage in order for it to turn over ? My exciter wire ohms out

IF you are just getting a "click" sound when you turn the key, chances are some of the safety switches are pooched. There is one just ahead of the rear axle on the left side. There are 2 more under the cab at the front right corner. They are all for the PTO and lockout. If they are not set and working, the starter will not turn over. AGCO carries them pretty cheap if you need new ones.
The wire coming off the injector pump is what shuts the tractor off - controls a solenoid valve. Don't touch it.

There is no clicking or anything, another thing I have noticed , if you look on the schematic top right of the switch is a square box , is that separate from the switch ? Would it be a circuit breaker ?

The silver box on the ignition /key switch is an auto reset circuit breaker. I think 30 amp. It is screwed onto one of the terminals of the switch. Agco switches always had that on them when you bought it, not sure about the aftermarket. Like they said before usually it is a safety switch on the white wire not letting voltage through if it doesn't crank. Easy to check with a test light.

Clutch switch and PTO switches are the most common ones.

Alright, just have to figure out where to put the circuit breaker , switch I have does not have spot for it , thanks for all the help guys
