I just got my dad's 82R mounted on the D17. But I can't figure out how the long spring that is under the right lift arm mounts to the tractor. If anyone has picture of this. I am thinking that part is missing.
I know the threaded end is broke, but I can fix.
Is there a source to find a replacement belt.

There needs to be a "U" shaped bar that is under the RH axle housing.  It is called a "Spring Anchor Bar" according to the AGCO parts book.  Go to this link.

On my CA, it mounts to the same bracket as my rear cultivator mounts to.

If you have that spring, you have an 80R mower.  And the bracket you need on the axle to attach the spring to is probably on the tractor it came off of. I will post the section of the manual....Dale

I think the piece you are looking for is listed in the classified ads section by Matt .Or you could make your own bracket.

I found that listing late last night. I have contacted him. If it's not available , I will probably just make one now since I know what I need. Thanks for everybody's help.
