I have an IB with a random miss. Removing one spark plug wire at a time , each wire slows engine down, valves do not appear to be sticking. Tractor has mag. Where and how do I find tha cause. Engine was recently rebuilt.

Recheck the valve clearance settings.

I have a shop manual on line at: http://www.geraldj.networkiowa.com/Trees/Allis-Chalmers-G-B-C-CA-Service.pdf

You may need new plugs and solid core wires.

and make sure the MAG cap does not have any cracks or carbon tracks that could cause a short between leads.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.
