Saw a neat old allis yesterday. Unfortunatly was too late to see it work. Cool to see one still in service though. Alhambra il. Homecoming.

A lot of the carnivals used the Allis power units. Nice to hear one still in service and working away.

don't know about all over the US... but there are a few running around the mid west with the CE motors for power... See several in central Illinois the past 10 years.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

We could tell when the carninal or fair was running.  The ride operators would come to us to get parts for the B,C,CA engine.
They said they were good power units and worked well for them.
Hard to believe some are still in operation.

there are hundreds of them little Allis motors still running a lot of carnival and circus rides and equipment still!
