I can not find a replacement exhaust manifold for my 190 gas, it appears they aren't available NOS, aftermarket, or used and from the sound of it, I wouldn't want one anyway because they always crack. One crack had been welded and didn't hold.. I think I can clamp a soft aluminum gasket around both cracks and install new manifold gaskets(readily available) and be OK. Or, perhaps others in this situation have found better a solution ? I would like to replace the intake manifold gaskets also because I think they're leaking and causing it to run rough after an hour or so of proper operating temperature....but I cannot find them anywhere. Can anyone help me find them ? It's an early 190, sn# 1364 if that matters. Thanks Edited by Jamz - 10 Apr 2017 at 4:11pm

They can be welded, but it takes a man that knows what he's doing. If your intake is not cracked they can be surfaced.

A new A-C replacement manifold is probably different than the original. A-C took out some of the sharp bends in the runners to help keep the cracks from forming.

When I was looking for one last year, I found that there are 3 part numbers each superseding the previous one. I bought a nice properly welded used one and had it resurfaced before instalation which is a must in my opinion.

The combine manifolds will work and as was stated earlier in multiple posts the later ac manifold was redesigned without allis chalmers written on the exhaust side. The later g gleaned and we also have a 1970 190xt gas with the later style. They do not have the issues breaking. Also definitely have it surfaced or be checking this. I like to do the exhaust and intake together bolted up so there is as little chance of a bind as possible. Andy

Thanks guys, this is good info !   It may explain why ALL STATES parts catalog does have an item(101486) that replaces OEM no. 74007652 and 74007653. No mention of my 4023626. However, the picture they have of that item definitely does not look like it would work, it has the outlet square in shape being off center while mine is a round threaded outlet that's centered. Maybe it's just the picture in their book that's wrong. If anyone knows what part number(s) the newer ones are, I'd appreciate it ! Or if the one from the combine is the later style.... and if so, has the same part number.
