    Posted: 06 Apr 2017 at 10:26am
Greetings,
I'm repairing some shifter linkages and I have my model G split right in front of the transmission, between the main gear housing and the small frame piece that holds the operators seat.  There are two separate compartments that contain transmission gears.  The forward compartment has a drain plug, but I can not figure out where to add transmission oil.  I can not see how oil putting oil in the only fill port adds oil to the forward compartment.  Am i missing something, or are there special fill procedures for this small forward compartment?

Thanks so much, its great to have a manual!

The manual does not mention anything other than to use the main fill port.  Still, the front compartment does not appear to have any connection to the main section.  Perhaps as the gears pick up oil, some will get transferred forward along the shaft.  Or perhaps I am just missing an obvious detail.  I will have to leave the front drain plug off as I refill to see if any comes out.

It will fill no problem, just fill at the main plug by the pedal, then give a while for the oil to flow and level out.

The transmission in the G is the same as in the B & C.
