Have a few questions about 7020's.  Just wondering about general reliability since it was the highest hp tractor they put a 301 in.  I believe it was the only tractor application for a 301 with an intercooler, correct?  I think the PD transmission has a pretty good reputation in these tractors.  Anything else a person should know or look for?  Thanks.

I have a pd 7020. The 301 and head is a little different in the 7020 than any other AC. Had to do some work on the head after I bought it but if you use it as a 120hp tractor, you will be happy. The top gears in the pd trans may be a little to fast for the 301. Just remember, it's a 301, not a 426. All in all, cheap horsepower.

My dad had 2 of them, I spent a lot of time in those things. Power shift, never had any issues. And, in my humble opinion, the 301 is one of the best engines ever designed and built. Trev.
