Well... I ran my 200 for about six hours discing on Tuesday, turned it off for the evening. Next morning started it up and let it warm up for a few minutes (my 200 is cold natured). Put it in first gear to get it moving on to the next field and then! A quite, deep tapping noise from the engine! I turned it off as soon as I heard it. Decided not to start it again but to turn the engine over and see if I could hear where the sound was coming from. Sounds like something in the #4 cylinder, sure enough I towed it back home and pulled the head off. Looks like it blew out the top of the cylinder and threw a ring. Have you guys ever seen anything like this?

Gas engine is not the same piston as a diesel. I'm gonna guess starting fluid damage. Check ALL pistons while apart for broken rings or ring lands.

Better check the rod on that cyl. to see if it is bent. All the suggestions above are relevant. I've seen the inj. do some weird things to pistons.

There is a snap ring that holds it in place remove it. The pin has threads in the end of it for a 3/8 bolt. Screw a bolt in so you have something to pull on. You will need to remove a tie rod end it's in the way for the pin to come all the way out. Good luck !
