Last winter/spring we rebuilt a 7020 engine. Everything seem to go well. The customer says it is now pushing water out the overflow when under load and also seen oil in the water, which was addressed by replacing the engine oil cooler, which didn't cure the oil in the water. With some inquiry, it been concluded the head gasket may be the problem due to the fiber flaking off. The gasket in the kit was the fiber style and seems like the best type is the metal clad type, which isn't available through Agco or after market sources. Would anyone know a source for this head gasket or possibly solution to correct this?

I think you have other issues, we install a lot of 301 head gaskets thru many sources w/o issue. It is an easy head to seal. Check out the sleeve stand out and head being true.

Ditto's on the NAPA head gskt. sets. Just finished a Nav. DT466 and it was a felpro head gskt. Dealer wanted almost 200 bucks more for their gskt. set. Good Luck, Mike

Im with TBran on the gasket issue. I saw some bad ones from High Cap a few years ago on some 426s but none on 301s. Did you have the head checked? Im wondering about a leaking injector sleeve?
