Anyone remember the AC Afield magazines Allis had out ? I dunno if they were just to dealers or public , but I bought a lot of Allis stuff and it had a bunch of these magazines in it; they showed who was the top sellers of tractors, combines, equipment in every region, around here Bockting was top seller in tractors a few years, they are great guys and pushed a lot of Orange in the day

That's super cool! Who were the top combine and tractor salesmen in the Oklahoma region, if I might ask?

In the Kansas City region 1981 the combines most sold was Adams Equipment ; tractors were Bockting Farm Equipment, seems that may include OK, ; if not the other close one is the Dallas region and the most combine units were sold by Hill County Imp,, tractors were Amigo IMP,, ; this magazine has all the hubbub of the release of the 6000, and 8000 series in RENO ,, its so sad that 4 years later Deutz would have it

Back in the 70's i would say Lindsey's in Cordell Oklahoma Creston.
My dad said it wouldn't be uncommon to see 40 new or used gleaners on the lot.

To me that seems like it had to be for Blockmen, Branch Managers, Branch personnel, and up. I cannot recall seeing one. Good Luck! Bill LOng

They hauled our L3 when granddad bought it up by Alva in 1986. They went to Alva, picked it up, and brought it to Hobart.
