What's a ball park price for a complete 1 row cultivator set for a Allis B? I'm trying to decide if I should just keep my G with the 1 row cultivator or sell it and get a 1 row cultivator for the B. Surely cultivators aren't worth more than a couple hundred bucks, but I'm just curious.
Thanks

Keep the G with the cultivator, then if you find a cultivator for the B get it also. You should be able to find a B cultivator for less that $100 with most of the feet still with it. If you were closer I would store the G for you so it would not be in your way, especially during gardening season.

After I got my first G with cultivators I never used the B with cultivators. Sitting and leaning first to one side and then to the other watching under the center of the B gets old fast.
It also starts to cause undue pain in the neck and back after you get by the age of a kid. If you are still looking for B cultivators you should be able to pick them up for 50 bucks or less. If you were with in 10 bucks of gas in distance of me you would be tickled at the price of a set. Years ago Roger VanCamp sold me a set of frames for 15 bucks and then went out to a pile of shanks and tossed enough in the back of my pickup to make up two sets of cultivators. I had bought over 300 dollars of parts before we talked about the cultivators.

That's what I kinda thought. I know the G is very nice for it, but I guess I'm just anxious for more shop room. I'll probably just keep the G, as it belonged to a good friend of my grandparents and my mom. That makes selling it kinda hard. And he made the cultivator that's on it. Well....one thing I DO need is the rear cultivator assembly for a G that's used to scratch up the tracks.
