I am looking at an All Crop 90 combine.  The guy is asking $400.00 for it.  I was wondering how good of a combine it is.  My dad used to have a 66 and said it was a really good unit.  Should I go and look at the 90 or hold out for a 66?  On a side note I did buy the WD front mount corn cultivator and will try and post some pics this weekend.  Thanks for all the help.

They were a good combine. Weight was the problem at that time. Was not good in mud with the tractors of that time. MACK

In my book a 72 is better. I sold my 90 a couple years ago for $1500 so if that one is in reasonable shape then it's a good deal.

The 90/100 are harder to find parts for than a 60/66/72. They're still good combines though. Fairly rare, too.
If the combine is mostly complete, I'd buy it! That's not a bad price.

Im with Lonn on saying the 72 is a better combine.

But that price is a good one. I don't think you would get hurt buying it.

I have combined lots of acres of Red Clover with a 90 operated by dad's 1953 WD with curved gear shift. Also ran the 90 with a D17 and an Oliver 550.Good combine - no canvas to repair or replace.
We have a 1959 Model 90 and a 1958 AllCrop 66 stored in the barn.Hope to get the 90 out next year and do some soybeans with it.
