Well it wasn't as bad as it could have been. The head broke off one of the valves in the #1 cyl. Consequently it broke the piston all to pieces, but didn't damage the cyl.walls. So I'm going to have the valves ground, get a new piston and rings and put it back together.
Thanks to everyone who had ideas and suggestions. I really appreciated it.
