That looks great and quite a lot of Rims there! I've wondered about having rims re-galvanized vs. painting with aluminum paint.

That looks like the start to a field full of amazing orange treasures.   Just picturing all the options of what that many rims might fit....
Did you need a certain number of rims to make up a batch run? I have wondered about getting a set or two rims done myself.

They look even better mounted. Mind sharing how much per rim to have galvanized in a group like that? Did you have to any prep before sending?

$30.00 per rim. No prep needed unless rims are painted. If painted you must remove the paint before getting them galvanized. They give rims an acid bath before galvanizing. The acid Bath removes all the rust.

That is very cool do you know about how long the galvanized rims hold up? I know they all came galvanized or nickel plated I think on the farmall. The farmall h I have was bought new in 50 but as long as I can remember say early 80s it has been just 100 percent rust brown so I don't know how long to expect the galvanized rims would last

The first batch was 16 years ago and still no rust. The CA sits out side 95% of the time.

there site says a thin flash coating of 1 mill will last 10- 20 years... The heavy 4 mill coating will last 60- 80 years ......... you get thicker coating on larger sheets, thin coating on wire or bolts.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

I'd pay $30 a rim any day to have rear rims done. They look good and would last a long time. That's a good deal. I bet it helps when you can get that big of a batch together.

Here is a picture of the rim on my CA that was done 16 years ago. Even the power shift rails are rust free and I slide them in and out a lot .
Thanks & God Bless
