Not sure if this claim is true, but a quick and interesting read.

I've been there and George's collection is truly impressive. I also consider myself a friend of his and my phone will often have his name pop up when it rings.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

Makes me think of the times Pop sent me out to call on a child who had requested literature.  Always a fun call even though did not sell a thing.
I remember one time when I called on a "heavy Duty" John Deere farm.  The farmer knew me and asked why I was there.  I mentioned I had got a request for literature from his son.  I am certain his son got a real lecture later.
Must be one terrific collection.  I would love to view it
Good Luck!
Bill Long

ps:  You know if he made a disk or if there is a disk of the collection I would buy it.

Bill, that reminded me of a "request for literature" on a Badger Manure Conveyor system for a barn gutter.

In one of the farm magazines that Dad subscribe to were these post-card things you could send in, and I was interested in those conveyors; so I did.

I was getting tired of scooping out the sh&t that the milk-cows always voided themselves of when they got into the stanchions....never seemed to be outside LOL.

A sales rep came out to the farm and Dad had no idea why he was there.
The guy said something about a request for more info.

Dad says "I guess I know where that came from".
The sales guy didn't say much, just shrugged his shoulders.  probably muttered something under his breath, tho;

Dad didn't get mad, he just said to ask him whether or not to send in for more info in the future.
