190 issues

I just need to know if I'm correct on my material. I been checking fluid levels and my PD side the thread in dipstick is good but the transmission side the one that u push and lock in like a radiator cap those fluid levels have not been up where they need to be......so more than likely the PD seal is going bad...because in the rear of the tractor where the top link plate goes there is a check plug and I drained out a 5 gal bucket of hydraulic fluid...that was the reason I had to change the lift arm seals because the fluid should never be above that check plug...this leads me to believe that my PD seal is going bad...the thing is I just put all new PD in and the pd seals along with the PTO seals in it about 3 years ago. Am I on the right track...or is there a possibility that the PTO seal is bad. Sorry it's so long...I love my 190 but about to get the best me.

The "check plug" you're referring to near the top link bracket?? DO NOT check any oil level with it. If you drained 5 gallons of oil and now the dipstick is low, that's why !! Oil level is up almost to the lift arm housing shaft bottom on a 4-pinion differential tractor. If oil level stays constant at the threaded dipstick, you do not have a PD seal issue.
