The way I do it is, I figure out what I'm gonna use the machine for. Mowin', pushin' snow, whatever, and then go from there to see what is actually available in tread design in that size. Then I make my decision. Sometimes you don't have much to choose from on certain sizes, so you havta' go with what's offered. Sometimes it isn't always what you want...

Carlisle Turf Master They make several tires beginning with Turf. The turf master has the best all around tread for traction and the best casing of the lot
