Guys: I am working through some bad rolls on my H-3 and am looking for ideas to replace the tapping blocks that the caps screws fasten to when putting the rollers on. 

Any ideas on were to obtain these.  

Any one have these for sale used.  I could use four of the tapping blocks.

Are these the little steel blocks that are like blind nuts.  I took a few off my H3 that were on the track chassis bolts that fastened to the front I-beam.  I think they were 1/2" fine thread.

Warddc:  Yes, they are kind of like blind nuts but they are made of steel stock about 6" long and are tapped for fine thread.  One side is tapered and butts against the inside of the frame. They serve as the fastner for the fine threaded bolt that holds the roller to the frame.

I think I have some left over from the one I am rebuilding. What is wrong with your old ones? The only trouble I had was due to severe rust erosion.

ac-mike: Mine are badly oxidized and weak in spots.  Could use the welder and weld them but would prefer to find another method to secure the rollers with new stock perhaps.   Ideas on this?

The ones I have are just like that only shorter.  These are about 1-1/2" long.  They are the ones that secure the bolts that hold the front axle to the track chassis.

Dozer: yes we have a machine shop locally but hard for me to find anything positive about them.  Just that I would need to find someone other than them.  Excessive costs and rude and arrogant behavior would be some descriptions that I would use to describe them.  Only reason they stay in business is due to govt. piece work.  To put it another way I would buy the machine tools to make what I need before I give them 1 cent.  

Good suggestion though!
