Can someone give me the best way to go about removing the large nut on the variable speed on a gear drive F2. I'm mainly wandering about what the best way is to secure the shaft from turning without damaging anything. I realize a large impact would probably do the trick, but I do not have one avaliable at the moment. To be clear I am talking about the variable speed for the tranmission. I have the two large O-rings on hand as well as wanting to update the fitting that the oil line attaches to. Thanks

big pipe wrench. When I did the K2 it wasn't exceptionally tight. The vvar speed drive bearings were the achilles heel on the K2 for me.
