request. Have y'all with XT's added a real oil pressure gauge? I noticed they did not come with one, just a red light which comes on I assume with low or no pressure. If you have added one where did you plumb into the block? What pounds gauge should I get? As always THANKS! Dana

captain I know its not a great picture but the upper right guage is an oil pressure guage, if memory serves me right I think it goes to 70 pounds or a little more.

Put a t in where the oil pressure sensor goes, used a mechanical gauge plumb it with copper line the platic doesn't last and failure is bad if you don't catch it soon enough. runs in the 40lb range when working so maybe a 60 lb or something like that

Added it to the dash panel on my 220 and kept the light.I think I had to cut a new hole but that was a long time ago and I don't remember. 80lb guage is plenty 60 might be better

I installed an oil pressure guage on my D-21 where the traction booster guage was and cut the dash for an oil pressure guage with a hole saw on the lower left dash on my 210 and 220. Agco has the guages for $70 + but I bought them from DJS for $30. The old A-C guage is 0-30 psi (gas) but the new diesel guage is 0-80 psi. Both look identicial with the NORMAL white face and Allis-Chalmers name. You need to know the range of the guage because if you use a diesel guage on a gas engine you will likely panic and think you have little or no oil pressure.

Thanks guys. I installed a new gauge this morning. I drilled a new 2 inch hole right above where ACscott mounted his. Plumbed in a new T and kept the red low press light too. Cool beans. Now if that guru would just call with my head done, we should be in business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
