I am order filters for my 170 and i am stumped on the hydrualic filter #. All the filters im getting are NAPA brand and i think the # is 1515. Can anyone confirm this for me. The filter on it now is a Federated Auto Parts #LF115F.  If anyone wants the other Napa #'s for a diesel with serial #6969 is-2 fuel filters #3166--oil filter #1806.                   The Allis "C" oil filter is #1101.                                                                              And a Bobcat 753 are--fuel filter #3192 and oil filter #1068.

Thanks

Hey Cad I just changed all filters in my 170 yesterday, as well as ALL oils. The engine and hydraulic filters were the same, which I thought was wierd. I can get the number tomorrow, but it was not the number you posted. Something like 1452 but I'll check.

Captian,   I tried to cross reference the number on that filter and thats what i came up with. The hydro filter thats on it, i never heard of. Is your 170 the same style with the pump on the right side and filter on the left?

Captian,  I found the number, it is 1049. If you search google for Napa filter convertion you can look them up by the tractor. You can also look under Wix filter convertion and just take the 5 off the front of the filter number and you have a Napa filter. If you want to let me know your would still be great.

The Oil and Hydraulic filters on my 175 gas are the same, and I have used Motorcraft FL-1A for years with good success.   Dale

On our AC170's I have used the Car Quest  # 85188 filter and like Dale, sometimes use the   Motorcraft FL-1A, on both oil and hydraulic for years.
On the AC175's we use Car Quest # 85452 on both oil and hydraulic, or  Fram PH 8A.

For the Diesel Fuel Filters: Car Quest is # 86166,   others include;  296CAV,
NAPA 3166 ,   Adv. Auto - FRAM C1191A ,   MF1077260M91  ,   Puralator is F50149

Air Filter  for both Tractors is Car Quest-87222

Hope this helps?
What type / model AC170's ya'll have?

Thanks for the info. I have a 1970 170 with the Perkins diesel in it. Runs good but smokes alot unless i'm running it alot. If it sits and idles it starts smoking. I think the pump needs adjusted as i have seen the rain cap have some moisture to it.
