Just found a 1939 RC, crank start model, no starter, generator, or lights. Complete, decent sheet metal, not real rusty, serviceable very old tires, not running. This tractor has been stored in a shed since the late 50s, but has now been moved outside. Has always had a covered exhaust, but may be stuck. This is a very original unmolested tractor, and has a good mounted mower. Original owner's son is asking $800. What is a good price? Kip |

Probably 1200 to 1500 for an Original.

I looked at one in Indiana a few years back. Terrible condition, motor stuck, incorrect rear wheels, missing and torn up sheet metal, tires all rotted. He as asking $1500.00. Needless to say, I walked away.

I got lucky, friend of mine had a RC in his way, he needed more room in the shed, he gave it to me just come get it, but Iam going to cut him some spring hay for it this coming spring, its a 38 model, I would ask his bottom dollar on it or make a offer.

In the condition you described, buy it. Sounds fair.

I bought it for less than the asking price! Kip & I are taking a road trip in the morning to go and get it before somebody changes their mind. Should have it home by dark-o-clock tomorrow night! Should be right at home with the 37,38,& 39 WCs and our B and 2 Cs. |

I bought one a couple hundred miles east of you in Craig, Co for $1,600 about 3 years ago.  It seemed like a fair price, sounds like a twin of yours.  You got a good buy!
