This is the tractor I grew up on

   Here is the ol 45 I grew up on, when I was little this is the only tractor we had, then graduated to a 17 which we still have then a 190 gas that is gone now and so on, I  helped dad about 5 years ago put the cultivators on and told him dont take them off ever again as I wasnt helping with it anymore, I told him there are plenty of tractors around now if he has to use a 45 for something use another one, and believe it or not he listened, mabe because it took forever as a set hadnt been on the tractor in approx 30 years and the wheels and front end just didnt work like they were suposed to, it really became a pretty good fight to get them on

	We had a WD45 wide front diesel with the 4 row front mount and I remember the job of putting that on. They are a lot heavier than they look! My dad stored ours in a quanset against the wall, pushed together so when storing the 4 row planter the packer wheels would go in between the cultivator shovels. That mean't a lot of horsing that thing around with 4x4's to get it opened up so the wide front would clear. Usually involved setting (beating) the wheels all the way in. After the first cultivation the wheels got set out again, then back in at the end of the season for removal, then usually back out for plowing....you would think they would move easy adjusting them that often, but it seems the tie rods were always froze up...the good old days LOL!

	That's the way my WD45 front end was and the cultivator is not coming off. lol I think buying one more WD45 and just leaving the cultivators on is better for my back too.
	3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

	That's another reason why I am looking for another 45 close to home here in WI.
