Wow that is pretty cool. What all does that filter number fit? The bidding is up over $384.00 with 2 days to go yet. We'll have to check back and see what the final price ends up at.

Wonder what that package sold for at the AC dealers back in the day?

These filters are pre 1949 based on the A-C logo design. They would fit WC -WF tractors.  Fred where are you??

Michael Crowe has/had repos that looked just as good (no box) for a whole lot cheaper!

I would love to have one for the restoration I'm doing.  My grandfather bought one replacement filter only and always repacked it.  this is the condition it is in today...  but I don't need five and not at that price. Now to fine four other people .  lol

I have NOS aftermarket flat tops (Wix, Hastings, etc) I would sell.... Still have the wood stick in them. Paint them up and put a decal on them from OK Tractor, you will not tell from 5 feet away! I'll put them in the classifieds.

I have seen those filters go a lot higher than that on an Auction in New Glarus, WI.  They went to over $600, and were a "No sale".  The guy wanted $1000, and he got it later from a private party.

Could be a friend running up the bid. 40% is way too high in my opinion.

you got to ask how many bids the buyer has done....

If the buyer did a 100 bids, then 40% is 40 bids and that is a lot.
If they did 10 bids, and 4 of them were to one seller, it is still 40%, but not a big deal.
I have bid up to 10 things at a time from our buddy Marty in BadAxe, MI. but that does not mean I am a shill bidder, it means he had a bunch of stuff I wanted!

I know what mean, Marty or Farmallboy are probably my most used sellers but I would guess my % of my 600 bids is only about 2 or 3 at most, maybe 15 or 20 bids each. The top bidder here has bid 115 times with this seller out of a total of 311 bids. That seems like too many as a legitimate bidder to me.

Steve, I am.... I got lotsa' stuff, and anything that is fairly easily "findable" later is on the block.
If I got something that has caught your eye, let me know.... Maybe we can make a deal. I will say though, the Potato B and the early IB are off limits for now....
Looking to convert some stuff to cash....

I bought 3 of the OEM filters a couple of years ago. Paid $5.00 of one and $30.00 for 2 and they both came with a 3 filter tube. 1 tube is the diamond AC logo and the other one is the triangle logo. These filters fit the WC, WD, WD45, B, C, CA, & G. Bob

The bidding is now over $500.00 for these filters, after 21 bids so far. About 8 and 1/2 hours remaining in the auction.

Now that is the oil filter I remember selling.  They were used for the B, C, CA, WC, WD, WD-45, and the auxiliary power units.  I do believe they would fit the D series tractor.
How about $ 1 - $ 2 each - actually, if I remember closer to $ 1.00
Guess I should have put some aside.
Well, you can't remember everything
Good Luck!

Indeed! Winning bid was $560.00 after 23 bids. Pretty ridiculous. Now what's the buyer going to do with them? Use them? Look at them? Wacko

Individuals usually go for over $100 each.... And he got the box.

If I was in a buying mood right now, I think I would have either owned them or he would have paid more...  Of course, I would probably put them out where I could just look at them.... LOL   See how easy it is to talk? LOL
