What is your perception of Allis-Chalmers price trends?  It looks to me like the prices of low production tractors, like the A that just sold on EBAY, continue to go up.  Low production would be defined as models where less than 5000 units were produced.  Models like the A where a smaller number were made  (like about 1200) seem to go at attractive prices for the sellers.
A(1937), 2 G, 2 WD45 diesels, 6 WD45 gas, UC, 2 WD, D17 gas, WF, Farmall 400, D12, Kubota B3030

Good tractors are bring strong prices in the area. You are right about lower production numbers. In the last year I saw a WD-45 Diesel bring over $12,000, a D-19 diesel bring $13,500, 220  and a D21 each bring $16,000 , D-12 II with power steering $8500 at auctions. These were excellent restored tractors.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

All the prices of the tractors at Nuetch sale were cheap some was because they did not start any of the tractors. Price of the Rare in good shape are still strong I was in La about 6 months ago and the D 10 and D15 high crop sold good and good rare tractors do sell good in Mo. I know of a D10 high crop sold for over $7000.00.The common tractor have fell down in price and most of what people call restored are not.
At least that is what I have seen also when there to many tractors at a sale it seems to hurt the prices like the sale in Ar about 3 months ago.

I always wonder about prices, too. I have a '59 D-14 LP that I either read, or someone told me, that only 750 were made. Does anyone know if that is accurate? Thanks much. Larry

The allis data book says, 750 LP D-14 models were made. You are right. On price, have no idea.

Funny how some models take off and prices slowly climb and level off as folks want a specific model when it gets "hot". I have always convinced myself that I will not buy another as I have whatever I felt was enough at the time, plus some models did start commanding serious prices.
With a stable full alraedy, how can you turn one down that comes along? Still, when pricing is right and with the economy being down the last few years, I have picked up a few this year that I would never have otherwise purchased.
190XTIII with Stolper cab, rear pie wts. and nearly new rear rubber popped up, I "had" to do it as it only has 3700 hrs. on the working tach and the family bought it new.
D17IVG with factory 3-pt., six bolt front hubs and 3100 hrs. on working tach.
D15 Series One Gas SFW.
17 and 15 were off Craig's List and you would not believe the price paid for any of them!
I am now back in the mindset that I will not pick up any more; until the next one comes along . . . . . . . .
