Does anyone on here have a copy of the phamplet from the tour of the Allis-Chalmers plant? I saw one on Ebay about a week ago. It had a D-19 on the over and it was black and orange. If anyone does have one would they mind scanning the booklet and sending  some copies to me via email? I am doing a college history project and it may come in handy.  Thanks.

With my father I made several tours of the plant.  Perhaps three.  However, I do not remember any literature being given out at that time - late 40's - early 50's.  Pop did make an Allis Chalmers tour as a second place dealer in our block in I think about 1954.  Still no literature.  Lot of items from various plants though.  Still have a few items.
Guess the literature came later.
Good Luck!

My father went on the tour with his uncle in around 1963 I'm thinking. We were just talking about it last week as a matter of fact!!! He said it took several days and they really took care of them. Took a bus trip to the engine plant in Illinois one day and the tractor plant the next. He is still upset to this day that his prehistoric camera he took along broke. He has a book he got on the tour but not any pamplets of anykind. Ryan

Austin, I sent you the tour map of the factory. I have the same piece that Randy is sending you. I also have a 32 page tour brochure from 1958 showing making a lot more than the D-14's and D-17's. Also have a tour guide from about 1951.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed
