Hey guys, dad wants to find the serial number on our old orange HD-7 with the GM 3-71 engine in it.  Can you give us a hand please?

Thanks,

It is on the final drive housing. Some of them are covered up with a winch. As you look at the rear of the tractor it is stamped in he upper right quadrant of the final drive/clutch housing.

Your welcome, I gave you location info from Yesterdays Tractor site.

From their site:
The Serial Number is located at upper right corner at rear of transmission case

Maybe it should have read final drive case. Who knows???

Glad you found it because that is what really matters.

Orange Blood; do you need any HD 7 parts? I've got one that I am going to part out if I ever get around to it. Darrel
