My '69 180 gas needs new tires and probably rims too.  We pull the plow, (3x18), harrow, plant, cultivate and plow snow with it.  What were the options on this tractor when new?  What are you guys running on this size tractor?  The tractor has 18.4x28 tires on 4 rail spin outs.  Calcium has torn up the rims and I'm hoping to go dry with new tires.  There is plenty of room in the fender for a taller tire and that would give me more crop clearance.
Thanks in advance!

Al - see this prior post on getting new tires/rims.  I went from 16.9X28's to 18.4X30's for my 180 gas and LOVE them.  16.9X28 was NOT enough tire for a 180.   Mike

Yeah go to 18.4-30's, especially if the rims are bad.
