	Pictures of my Dad and Grandpa (Fernow of Marion, Ia) back in 1975 or so combining oats. Also found one of my Dad's new AC 7000 maroon belly. From 1991 my Dad went to an AC show with his Uncle Lloyd Fernow somewhere near Cedar Rapids. Enjoy. Edited by 190ALLISXT - 17 Nov 2009 at 4:09pm

	Found some more old pics of our dealer back in the 60s and 70s of George Petrick (Mt Vernon, Ia) and my Dad. I think they went to Milwaukee or somewhere on a tour when my Dad bought a D-17 diesel. Also, some pics of when I was 44 years younger and about 240 pounds lighter riding with my Dad on the garden tractor. Also, a pic of his first 190 in front of the barn. 	The AC show was probably the HomeStead (IA) show put on by The Allis Connection. Lloyd won the show tractor at one of the shows back in the 90's. I seem to recall that it was a C. We also camped with Lloyd and his wife (who's name I can't recall) at the Mt. Pleasant show several times back in the 90's. He was a fun guy to be around. Armand

	Armand, it was my aunt Claire, that was uncle Lloyd's wife. Last I knew she still ived at the farm. Did you know Dick (Richard) Emig? I think he bought a lot of Lloyd's equipment when he had his sale. He (Dick) also has my Grandpa's Series IV D-17 from my Dad's sale. I always tell my Dad to work on him so he will sell it back to me. I learned how to plow beans on that tractor at the age of 10 and I mean literally plow beans. Don't know how many rows I took out that day learning but my Grandpa wouldn't let me out of the seat. Are you the same Armand from TTTs site with the toy ACs that you custom make? You sure do a nice job if you are. I will post my AC collection on here so you can see it. Uncle Lloyd did give me an AC Hydraulic fluid canister that I have up on my shelf to this day. 	Looking at your pictures that one with your Dad in front of Allis with the local dealer and other individuals brings back memories. My Dad purchased a new D17 gas in the fall of 1961 and that qualifed him to take a free 3 day trip to the Allis plants in West Allis, Wi and Chicago. At that time Allis flew my Dad, the local dealer and two other local farmers out of Omaha to Milwaukee where I think they stayed for 2 days then they were bused to Chicago were my Dad said they stayed at the downtown Palmer House Hotel. They then flew out of Chicago back to Omaha. If I recall this trip took place in December 1961 or January 1962. My Dad still has that D17 which got him the trip. It will soon be 50 yrs old. We have a lot of old farm pictures but not ever had the time to go back though them. Good to see you took the time.

	Great looking photo's thanks for sharing. My favorite one is the 190 in front of the barn with the hay crimper pretty neat stuff.
