The gal that organizes the school farm that I help with sent me some pictures tonight of her tour of the local Archer Daniels Midland today. They cleaned our wheat from the farm for us. This was one of the pics....she knows I'm fond of the Orange.  I guess some old AC mills are still being used.
I might have to go take a tour.

I'm fond of orange too but I can't say the same for ADM.
I drove bulker tanker for them.
Not the best company I worked for.

ADM has been caught once or twice price fixing. They are a large crooked global organization.

ADM sure put the screws to my father-in-law after almost 20 years doing maint. there. Kids came in to run the place then out with the oldtimers.

I don't think the point of Eldon's post is really about ADM. I think he's just saying it's nice to see some A-C mills still being used today.

It's pretty cool that she took the time to send you that pic, Eldon. I'll bet there's a lot of old AC equipment still in service in various industries. I know that's the case with hydro equipment throughout the country.

I know what your saying ALLISFREAK. In ADM's defence they do put on a farm safety for kids and mine use to go everyyear in Logansport. They leave with a bag full of things like caseih and deere decals, toys and safety brochures.
