I am looking for sizing (diameter x length) of the bolts used to hold the front wheel doughnut weights on a D series tractor. If I remember correctly I can just take a carriage bolt and grind one of the (4) sides down flat? Thank you for the help.
Mike

Thanks a bunch Matt. I was going to hook up the brush mower tonight and it always makes the front end a bit light on the hills.

Thanks again Matt for the help. As a follow up for anybody who searches this for future reference, perhaps I have different rims, but I ended up using 1/2" x 4" carriage bolts as I could not get a nut started on the shorter bolts with a washer and lock washer on.
Ted, I am not sure what brand of stalls are sitting empty in the barn but I am going to have to check now. Good to hear from you. Mike Edited by Michael (WI) - 12 Sep 2011 at 4:12pm |
