I looked at a 7010 tonight, the tag on the side of the engine had a 2900 on it. Would that be a 301 or a 426.

301 CID with a turbo, nice little engine, good power and reasonable fuel economy.

It is a scrap tractor, needs a crank. Thinking I can part it out and make enough to rebuild the mptor for a future pulling project.

Thanks, Does any one on here pull one of these motors. How much HP can you get out of them. I know that cash will get you all th HP you want, but what about a good rebuild with some head porting and better turbo and pump tinkering.

It is the 6 cyl version of the 6080 engine, same pistons. You can get a lot of power out of the 301, the 7010 drive train is too heavy to pull. Need 185 or 190xt drive train. Go to you tube and search ABAC Cracker Jack and you can see power. ABAC is college in Tifton, Ga. I helped build cracker jack when I when to school there.
