    Posted: 20 May 2011 at 9:13pm
Hi I am new to the site.  I recently decided to get out my dad's crawler tractors.  We used to farm with them for years.  They have been parked awhile all for something different broken.  I threw some batteries in the HD11 and it started right up and I drove it over to our shop.  Where is the best place to buy parts for these things?  AGCO have any?  I also have another HD11 dozer, a HD15 and a HD16.  Most will start right up.  Any help would be great.

Depending on your location will depend on supply.
Fiat-Allis construction is now New Holland Construction which is the old AC so their dealer network will handle most things . Minnpar in Mpls MN may have some things also in new parts. For used or aftermarket Thill Track and Tractor in Eau Clare WI is a good source. Lot of other places around also dealing in salvage and aftermarket things.

I am located in Arizona.  I appreciate the help.  I was just looking for where to get general parts.  I do need seals or a new water pump for my HD16.  I fired it up and it is leaking pretty bad.  Other than that the engines are all good.  just some transmission issues.  I am also looking for the Be Ge pump adapter for the HD11.

Thanks for the help Tad.  I will post picks of our machines when I have a little more time.  Our HD-15 has a Detroit in it.  I believe it is factory.  That thing so loud between the motor and the tracks.  Hopefully I can get them all up and running again.  I am tired of all these new computerized tractors.  I even have two TD18 and a TD 20 International crawlers that I would like to get running.  Those are last of course.

I was just looking at that.  That is a cool machine.  Both of mine have the turboed allis engine.  The paint is a little faded on ours but they are in fairly new shape.  My dad rebuilt a lot of parts before they were parked.

motor and year of hd16 will make a huge difference
62ish or newer and you can probably get most parts for 17000 and newer engines through heavy equip dealers and engine parts suppliers...

older 16000 (3 valve)  and HD844 (2 valve) buda lanova engine not easy to come by

good luck

Good luck with your Allis crawlers. I have (2) HD-6's that are running but intend to restore.
